Free Telegram tools for channel and group owners
Find chat, group, channel and user IDs, search public channels and groups, and check username availability. No sign-up, no bot token and nothing to install.
What these tools do
Running a Telegram channel or group means dealing with small technical questions all the time. A bot asks for a chat ID. A developer needs the -100 form of a channel ID. You want to find channels in your niche, or check whether a username is free before you rebrand. Each of these tools answers one of those questions in a few seconds.
Every tool page also has a step-by-step guide, so you can still get the answer when you are on your phone inside the Telegram app.
- Chat ID finder: converts message links, Web Telegram addresses and raw IDs into the Bot API
chat_idformat. - User ID finder: the quickest ways to get your own or someone else’s numeric ID, plus a profile link generator.
- Channel & group finder: ready-made search queries for public channels and groups, and a live check of any public channel’s subscriber count.
- Username checker: checks Telegram’s username rules and whether a name is already taken on t.me.
Privacy: what runs where
The ID converter, the profile link generator and the search query builder run entirely in your browser; nothing you type is sent anywhere. The username checker and the channel check read the public t.me page for the name you enter through our own small server, the same one our boost calculator uses. We do not ask for a phone number, a login or a bot token, and we do not store your searches.
Growing the channel once the technical part is done
These tools are free and stay free. When you are ready to grow, TelegramBoost is an SMM panel for Telegram: members, boosts, post views and bot starts, ordered from one balance with no password required.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. Every tool on this page is free, needs no account and has no usage limit for normal use.
No. None of the tools ask for your phone number, login code or bot token. They work from public information or entirely in your browser.
No. Private chats are only reachable through an invite link, and nothing outside Telegram can list or search them. The tools only work with public information.
Bots address chats by number. Telegram’s Bot API sends messages to a chat_id, so notification services, auto-posters and moderation bots need that number to know where to post.
