Telegram channel and group finder

Type a topic to get ready-made searches for public Telegram channels and groups, then paste any link to check its subscriber count before you join or advertise.

Opens search results in a new tab. Telegram’s own search only shows a few results per query; search engines index many more t.me pages.

Found something? Paste its link to see the title, subscriber count and online members. Works for public channels and groups.

Search inside Telegram first

Telegram’s search bar finds public channels, groups and bots by title and username. Type a keyword and look under Global search or the Channels tab. It works well for exact names, but it returns only a short list and favours large, active chats.

Two in-app features help you go further:

  • Similar channels: when you join a channel, Telegram suggests related ones. Open a channel’s profile to see them.
  • Folder and chat links: communities often share a link that adds a whole set of related chats in one tap.

Use search engines for wider results

Every public channel and group has a page at t.me/username, and search engines index those pages. The finder above builds the queries for you: site:t.me plus your keyword finds chats whose title or description matches. Adding “subscribers” narrows the results to channels, and “members” to groups. t.me/s/ pages are public channels with web preview turned on, so you can read posts without joining.

Telegram directories and analytics sites

Catalog sites such as TGStat and Telemetr list channels by category and country, with growth and view statistics. They are run independently of Telegram, coverage varies by language and region, and their numbers are estimates. They are still useful for comparing channels in a niche before you buy an ad.

How to check a channel before joining or advertising

  • Size: paste the link into the check box above to see real subscriber and online counts.
  • Activity: open t.me/s/username and look at the date of the latest posts.
  • Views vs subscribers: healthy channels usually show steady views on every post. Very low views on a huge channel is a warning sign.
  • Private chats: they cannot be found by any search; you need an invite link from the owner.

Want your own channel to be found?

The same signals that help you find channels decide whether people find yours: a clear title with your main keyword, a username that matches your topic, a description, and real activity. Read our guide on ranking in Telegram search. To give a new channel its starting audience, you can order Telegram members and post views from the panel.

Make it public, choose a username and title that contain your main keyword, write a clear description and post regularly. Larger, active channels rank higher.
